Evergreen Journey Counseling

My name is Claudia Ocampo, MS, LPC-S, RPT-S. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, and an EMDR Certified Therapist. I am also an EMDRIA Consultant in Training. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2003 and Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2008.

Since 1999, I have been helping people define and achieve goals to overcome personal obstacles. Having a wide range of intensive training allows for specialized care for adults, teenagers, and children alike. This custom-tailored counseling style focuses on creativity and expressive arts rather than more conventional talk therapy. In this restorative process, we utilize approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parts of Self, Sand Therapy, Play Therapy, and Expressive Arts to better help clients become the best version of themselves.

Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals. Get in touch today!

My Therapeutic Approach

Helping You Move Towards
Balance and Well-Being!

My therapeutic approach is deeply interactive and interpersonal. I believe that pain and trauma often stem from our relationships, and true healing begins within the context of relationships with others. I specialize in trauma, attachment, grief, depression, anxiety, abuse, social skills, self-esteem, cultural issues, and neurodiversity.

I am passionate about working with adults, teenagers, and children, guiding them to reach their full potential. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please don't hesitate to get in touch today.
