About the event
This training will explore the integration of parts of self (IFS) with play therapy to support clients in understanding and healing their inner world. Participants will learn how to use play-based techniques, such as sandtray, collage, puppets, art, and role-play, to help clients access and work with their "parts" in a non-threatening and developmentally appropriate way. The training will focus on how to guide clients in recognizing and nurturing their inner parts, fostering self-compassion and emotional regulation. Attendees will leave with practical tools to help clients externalize, understand, and integrate different aspects of themselves for deeper therapeutic healing.
Objectives:
Incorporate the therapeutic powers of play to help clients access their Self and develop a compassionate relationship with their parts.
